Between two sizes? Take the larger one. The jacket is cut to layer over a T-shirt, the pants have an adjustable waist, and kids grow into a camo kit faster than they grow out of it. Height is the more reliable guide, so treat age as a starting point only.

Before you order

Straight answers

Yes. One order gets you all seven pieces: the lined ripstop jacket, zip-off cargo pants, poly/spandex T-shirt, balaclava, bush hat, cap and the drawstring carry bag. There are no add-ons to buy and nothing is sold separately.

Sizes run by age: 7–8, 9–10, 11–12 and 13–14 years. Height is the more reliable guide, so check the size table above. If your child falls between two sizes, take the larger one: the jacket is cut to layer and the pants have an adjustable waist.

Only the pattern. Both are the same seven-piece kit, the same ripstop material, the same sizes and the same price. Ruin Green sits greener and works well in bushveld. CP is a lighter, more mixed pattern. Pick whichever suits where your child will be.

Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa. We ship through The Courier Guy, normally within 2 to 4 business days of your order being processed. There is nothing extra added at checkout.

The jacket has a warm inner lining and a ripstop outer that cuts wind, which is what most Highveld and bushveld mornings actually need. Worn over the T-shirt, with the balaclava, it handles a pre-sunrise start. In extreme cold, layer a jersey underneath.

Shipping policy

We ship nationwide in South Africa via courier delivery to your door.

Processing time: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends/public holidays).

Delivery time: Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days, depending on your area.

Shipping fees:

  • Free shipping on orders over R600

  • Orders under R600 will show a courier fee at checkout

Tracking: Once your order has been collected by the courier, we’ll send you tracking details.

Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control (courier delays, remote areas, weather, etc.).

Returns policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns work.

Change-of-mind returns (within 7 days):

  • Request a return within 7 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags and packaging

  • Sets must be returned in full (we don’t accept partial set returns)

  • Return courier costs are for the customer’s account (unless the item is damaged/incorrect)

Damaged or incorrect items (within 48 hours):

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours with your order number and clear photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost.

Refunds:

Once we receive and inspect the return, refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Original shipping fees aren’t refunded on change-of-mind returns.
